In 2013-14, the overall compliance rate for goats with the relevant Australian Standards was 99.6%. Over the past 10 years the Australian goat industry has shown a high degree of compliance with Australian Standards, highlighting Australia’s excellent residue and contaminant status. This helps maintain the reputation and integrity of Australian goatmeat in international and domestic markets.
